Craft
Landmark interfaces are identified by their balance of aesthetic brilliance and business impact. At Canvs, our craft lives at the intersection of both
Deliberate in practice
We are good at craft, because we obsessively pay attention to every detail. It is this meticulousness in design and craft that we’ve intentionally cultivated amongst everyone who joins us.

Motion

Our thinking is grounded in how information moves, and how decisions are made. We map inner workings first, so that interaction becomes a natural outcome. The aesthetics follow the truth of the product, not the other way around.

WRITING AS THINKING DEVICE
03
Unassumed clarity shaped by writing
This helps us sort signals from noise and exposes what needs attention. It leads to solutions that stand with confidence. The result is direction that is earned, not assumed.

DESIGN DECKS
VISUAL RESEARCH
Repeated use teaches what feels right and what doesn’t. We’re always consciously observing behaviour patterns, and our instincts come from years of using and truly living with products well beyond the ones we design.
We know how code works, what’s feasible, and how to speak engineering. Our feasibility thinking starts on day one, not at handoff.
DESIGNERS WHO UNDERSTAND CODE
We sit with engineering teams, build and maintain clean component libraries, reduce redundancies, and make sure what we design is exactly what ships.
COLLABORATION THAT IS BAKED IN
We prototype early to learn fast, then stay hands-on through QA, checking what breaks, what works, and iterating until the final output meets user and business realities.
PROTOTYPING. TESTING. REFINING
We like to ship product with confidence. Product engineering is just as much a part of our base as design is and we don’t shy away from brainstorming solutions at the ground level
